This course focuses on the administration of fluids and medications using IV/IO therapy.

The Course requires renewal in every 2 years, including skills practice and skills testing.
- Course uses learning stations for practice of essential skills simulated clinical scenarios that encourage Active participation
- Hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency
- Classroom-based works well for learners who prefer group interaction and instructor feedback while learning skill
Written Evaluation: required when specified by organizational, local, or state regulation.
Skills Evaluation: all students must perform required skills competently without assistance.
Students receive a course completion certificate valid for two years.
